Not Today stars Cody Longo as Caden Welles who, with the resources of his wealthy father, played by John Schneider, is living a party lifestyle most 20 year olds dream about. When his friends decide to travel to India, Caden goes for fun but soon finds himself in a situation that will forever change his life.
He meets a young girl played by Persis Karen, and her father, played by Walid Amini, who are Dalits and considered outcasts. They are starving and plead for his help but Caden refuses to help them and returns home. Haunted by the memory of the father and daughter, Caden attempts to right his wrong and returns to India, only to discover Kiran has been forced to sell his daughter into sex trafficking.
Caden's eyes are now open to a thriving human sex trafficking trade that takes place in India every day. Moved by a true purpose, and unlikely new friendship, and the prayers of his mother and girlfriend back home, Caden chooses to help Kiran search for his daughter and hope they save her in time. The movie was produced by Friends Church in Yorba Linda, CA and shot on location in India. The church is committing to educating the Dalits and ending human trafficking in India.
