What an inspiring DVD! This film portrays a true-life story in a gritty, realistic way with a wonderful performance by Jason Burkey who plays Kurt Keykendall, a college-age would-be basketball player who learns he is much more gifted as a soccer goalie. The movie includes some mature topics such as the loss of Kurt's mentally handicapped brother, a mother who drinks a lot and sometimes becomes ugly, and Kurt's father who can't imagine Kurt doing anything else but playing basketball. This remarkable film will inspire many viewers as they watch Kurt overcome obstacle after obstacle, including a broken ankle, to eventually make the U.S. Olympics team. Fortified with his faith in God, Kurt learns that a life that is lived for the glory of God is a life that will make a difference. This film's wonderful themes include faith and a strong work ethic.
